My Story
Hi! I'm Haley.
I’ve loved travel for as long as I can remember. Growing up in a small town in rural Kentucky as one of five siblings, family trips were rare. But when we did get to go, I fully embraced every moment. I soaked in every sight, sound, and taste, and those experiences planted the seed for my lifelong love of exploring the world.
In college, I studied French and Economics, never imagining I would use my French much beyond the classroom. My plan was to go into banking, but life has a funny way of leading you to your true passion. Today, travel is not just my work, it is a way of life. I am married to a wonderful man from West Africa, and together we love discovering new destinations, immersing ourselves in local cultures, and sharing unforgettable experiences.
I adore the mix of touristy highlights and authentic local life, those hidden gems that make a trip feel personal and memorable. Whether it is strolling through a bustling market, savoring a local dish, or finding a quiet corner off the beaten path, I am passionate about helping travelers experience both the must-see attractions and the soul of a destination.
A fun fact about me: one of my favorite destinations is Paris. There’s something so comforting about wandering the streets, discovering little cafés, and soaking in the art, architecture, and energy of the city. It’s a place where I always feel at home. Seeing the Eiffel Tower sparkle at night is absolutely breathtaking and a memory I’ll never forget. Close behind is Annecy, France, with its charming canals, colorful streets, and peaceful alpine views. These places capture the joy of travel and remind me why I fell in love with exploring the world.
Why I Started
I started Château and Shore Travel because I believe travel should be inspiring, accessible, and stress-free. So many people put off the trips they dream of because planning feels complicated, overwhelming, or out of reach. I wanted to change that.
My goal is to help travelers experience the world in a way that feels personal and authentic. From uncovering hidden local gems to making sure every detail is seamless, I take care of the planning so you can focus on the joy of discovery.
